Assembly and Testing Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assembly and Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas sector, specializing in completion tools. This role is based in Hyderabad, India, and offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot equipment according to engineering specifications and industry standards.
• Support the development and improvement of assembly and testing processes to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless workflow and compliance with safety regulations.
• Document assembly and testing activities, including maintaining accurate records and reports for traceability and compliance.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during the assembly and testing phases, escalating complex problems to senior engineers when required.
• Participate in risk assessments, safety audits, and continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing facility.

·     Diploma OR Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related technical field.

·     Proven experience (4+ years) in assembly and testing within the oil and gas industry, preferably focused on completion tools.

·     Strong understanding of downhole tool design, function, and application.

·     Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, hydraulic/pneumatic testing, and the use of precision measurement tools.

·     Knowledge of relevant industry standards and health and safety regulations.

·     Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

·     Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

·     Knowledge of API standards is an added advantage
