Job Description We are seeking a meticulous and technically proficient Quality Software Testing Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through rigorous testing practices, identifying bugs, and enhancing application performance. This role requires expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies and a solid understanding of software development Responsibilities : Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to understand requirements and user stories. Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and system testing across multiple platforms and environments. Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla. Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and assist in resolving issues. Build and maintain test automation frameworks for faster and more reliable releases. Conduct performance, load, and security testing as required. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of an Agile/Scrum team. Ensure all test documentation is up to date, including test plans, test cases, and test Technical Skills : Tools & Frameworks : Manual Testing tools : TestRail, Zephyr Automation tools : Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium Performance testing : JMeter, LoadRunner API testing : Postman, REST Assured, & Scripting : Scripting in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# Shell scripting or basic SQL for test data validation CI/CD & DevOps Integration Hands-on experience integrating tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI Version control : Git, & Test Management : Proficiency with JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla, or similar tools Clear understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 2 - 5 years of relevant QA/testing experience Experience testing web, mobile, and API-based applications Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Excellent written and verbal communication Skills : ISTQB Certification or equivalent Experience in BDD using Cucumber, SpecFlow, or similar Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Knowledge of container-based environments (e.g., Docker, Join Us?
