Job Title:

Key Responsibilities:

To manage dealer sales operations and ensure primary & secondary sales target achievement for commercial vehicles in the assigned territory. The role is critical in driving channel performance, enhancing customer outreach, and growing market share.

Dealer Management:

    • Manage and support assigned dealership(s) in the assigned territory to drive volume and profitability.
    • Monitor dealer operations, ensuring adherence to brand standards, sales process, and customer satisfaction metrics.
    • Conduct regular business reviews with dealer principals and their sales teams.

Sales & Target Achievement:

    • Drive primary and secondary sales for commercial vehicle products in the assigned geography.
    • Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Monitor sales trends, competitor activities, and identify growth opportunities.

Market Development:

    • Build strong relationships with key customers, fleet owners, and transporters.
    • Work on market penetration strategies, lead generation, and customer conversion.
    • Conduct local market mapping, demand estimation, and identify white spaces.

Retail Finance Support:

    • Liaise with NBFCs and banks to facilitate retail financing support for dealers and customers.
    • Monitor finance penetration and resolve bottlenecks with credit approvals or disbursements.

Team Engagement & Training:

    • Train and develop dealer sales teams on product knowledge, sales techniques, and CRM usage.
    • Conduct field joint visits and provide real-time coaching to improve performance.

MIS & Reporting:

    • Maintain daily sales reports, funnel data, and competitor tracking.
    • Share insights with regional office and contribute to strategic planning.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education:

Experience:

    • 8 years+ of relevant experience in dealer/distributor sales, preferably in commercial vehicles, tractors, or automotive sectors.
    • Prior exposure to B2B or channel sales in Eastern India is advantageous.

Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
    • Dealer/channel management
    • Target orientation and execution ability
    • Working knowledge of Excel and CRM systems
    • Fluency in Bengali, Hindi, and English
