Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and enhance existing

    AS400/COBOL applications

    .
  • Develop and manage

    RESTful APIs

    using

    Node.js and Express

    .
  • Integrate legacy systems with

    modern microservice architecture

    .
  • Deploy and manage applications on

    Microsoft Azure Cloud

    .
  • Implement

    DevOps automation

    using

    Docker and Kubernetes

    .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an

    Agile/SCRUM environment

    .
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of developed solutions.


Technical Skills Required:

  • Minimum

    3 years’ hands-on experience

    in

    AS400 Development and COBOL

    .
  • Expertise in

    Node.js with Express.js

    for backend development.
  • Strong knowledge of

    RESTful APIs

    and

    Microservices Architecture

    .
  • Experience with

    NGINX

    and

    Tomcat

    for application hosting.
  • Familiarity with

    npm

    ,

    nvm

    , and the

    Node.js ecosystem

    .
  • Proficiency in

    DevOps tools

    and

    CI/CD pipelines

    .
  • Hands-on experience with

    Microsoft Azure

    (development & deployment).

  • Version control

    using Git.
  • Integration of

    3rd party APIs

    .
  • Familiarity with

    SQL databases

    (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL).
  • Knowledge of

    NoSQL databases

    like MongoDB.
  • Passion for

    performance tuning, benchmarking, and writing reusable code
