Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a wide range of corporate legal matters, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and transactional advisory.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and related documentation.
• Advise clients on complex legal issues, business strategies, and compliance requirements under Indian corporate and regulatory laws.
• Conduct thorough legal research, analyze case laws, and prepare legal opinions and strategic recommendations.
• Support end-to-end execution of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, restructuring, and other corporate transactions.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand business objectives and deliver tailored legal solutions.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to deadlines.
• Mentor junior associates, oversee work quality, and contribute to internal knowledge-building initiatives.
  

Qualifications & Experience

• LLB or equivalent law degree from a reputed institution.
• 7-10 years of experience in corporate law, general corporate advisory, or relevant legal practice areas.
• Strong expertise in contract drafting, vetting, and negotiations.
• Proficiency in corporate compliance, regulatory frameworks, and governance requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in handling M&A transactions and other corporate deals (preferred).
• Excellent legal research, analytical thinking, and case evaluation skills.
• Strong communication, client management, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently on complex assignments and manage high-stakes projects under tight timelines.
• In-depth understanding of the Indian legal and regulatory ecosystem.
