Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Chennai for an Area Service Manager. The Area Service Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating service teams to ensure timely and effective customer support. Responsibilities include overseeing equipment installation and maintenance, addressing technical issues, training and guiding service engineers, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The individual will also collaborate closely with other departments to meet organizational goals and adherence to service standards.

Qualifications

Technical expertise in equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in the field of clinical diagnostics, especially IVD Biochemistry and CLIA, technical application added advantage.
Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills, Key account customer handling.
Knowledge of customer relationship management and the ability to prioritize client satisfaction
Proficiency in managing service schedules and maintaining documentation for service-related activities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work on-site and travel within the designated area when required
Educational qualification in Biomedical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred
Experience with clinical diagnostics equipment or in a healthcare-related technical service role is a plus
