Area Sales Manager Veneers & Laminates

As an Area Sales Manager in the decorative wood products sector, your role involves leading sales efforts in the veneers and laminates industry to drive revenue growth and market expansion. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans tailored to your region, overseeing your team, and fostering strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners. Your key responsibilities include: - Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies, objectives, and action plans for your region. - Set clear sales quotas and targets for individual team members to ensure alignment with overall business goals. - Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans when necessary. - Identify obstacles or challenges in achieving targets and collaborate with your team to develop effective solutions. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and channel partners. - Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute customer-specific sales strategies and promotions. - Prepare detailed sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management review. - Provide regular updates on market conditions, sales performance, and customer feedback to senior leadership. Qualifications required for this role include: - Educational background in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Bachelors or Masters degree preferred). - 7+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or field sales within the interior, furniture, veneer, or laminates industry. - Strong strategic planning, analytical, negotiation, leadership, and communication skills. - Proven ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across teams. Preferred industry experience includes selling wood-based decorative products, specifically in veneers, laminates, or related decorative surfaces. Familiarity with the interior design and furniture sectors will be highly advantageous. This full-time position offers benefits such as health insurance and provident fund, with a day shift schedule.
