Area Sales Manager Location: Ahmedabad Department: Sales Experience: 3-5 years Reporting to: Zonal Sales Head Job Summary: As an Area Sales Manager at Wooden Street, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing store teams across your assigned territory in Mumbai, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will execute strategic plans, manage day-to-day store operations, and work closely with the City Head to achieve revenue targets and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Drive sales targets and revenue growth across assigned stores in Mumbai. Monitor daily sales operations, analyze performance metrics, and implement improvements to optimize the sales funnel. Ensure smooth execution of in-store customer experience by leading and mentoring the front-end team (Sales and Design Consultants). Work closely with store teams to improve TAT (Turnaround Time) and CSAT (Customer Satisfaction Score). Build, train, and motivate high-performing sales teams to meet business goals. Implement and monitor SOPs for sales and design consultation processes. Collaborate with the City Head to implement new strategies, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives. Provide regular reporting on sales performance, customer feedback, and team productivity. Ensure adherence to brand standards, store hygiene, and compliance policies across locations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Interior Design, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in retail, interiors, furniture, or home décor industry. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to lead multi-location teams. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving customer satisfaction. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving approach with a customer-first mindset. Ability to adapt in a dynamic, high-growth environment. Exposure to the interior design or modular furniture segment is a plus.
