Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Executive Procurement to manage end-to-end procurement operations, with a focus on biomedical equipment. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of relevant experience, strong vendor management skills, and a thorough understanding of procurement workflows in a healthcare or hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the complete procurement cycle from requisition to delivery for biomedical equipment and related items.
Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, finance, stores, etc.) to ensure procurement aligns with operational requirements.
Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor lists, and procurement reports.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and statutory regulations.
Continuously evaluate market trends and recommend improvements in procurement strategies.
Resolve any issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, or payment disputes.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering or any relevant discipline (biomedical preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the healthcare/biomedical sector.
In-depth knowledge of end-to-end procurement processes and supply chain management.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP procurement systems.
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
