Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1.     Lead and manage the entire Sales for the State. Strategies, Support and help execute distribution & BTL Activities

2.      Strategies Plan and Execute the distributor and Retailer network for the region and improve primary and secondary sales. Develop newer markets in the region

3.       Set and Exceed Targets for the region and team. Drive and Develop innovative schemes for the Distributors and Retailers.

4.        Leading Sales and Marketing of products in the assigned territory within the budgeted cost .and maintaining financial hygiene across the territory.

5.      Provide inputs to the Functional leadership teams on product, packaging & pricing decisions.

6.        Being a part of the Leadership team of the Region, to provide Category insights basis superior category understanding, region specific industry dynamics and competitive intelligence.

7.       To be the lead resource in assimilating, sharing & replication of best practices in Sales & Distribution basis internal and external learning.

8.         Coordinate and ensure quality of Estimation as a key input to the Supply chain management process.

Required Skills:

 1.      Graduation/MBA from an institute of repute with 3-10 years of experience in FMCG industry .

 2.    Should have managed a state with revenue responsibility and have lead a team.

3.Should have proven expertise in Sales and Distribution, particular to FMCG Industry and should have grown revenues pertaining to a state.

The Position reports to the ‘GM- Sales’ based in Bangalore
