We are looking for Area Sales Manager in the Aluminum Composite Panel (ACP) industry is responsible for driving sales and market share within a specific geographic territory by managing relationships with key stakeholders like architects, builders, fabricators, and dealers. Key duties include developing and executing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, managing a sales team, conducting market analysis, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Qualifications typically include proven experience in building materials sales, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a track record of exceeding sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales plans to achieve revenue and distribution targets within the assigned territory.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including architects, builders, fabricators, and dealers.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the customer base and increasing market penetration for ACP products.
Oversee channel sales, manage distributor relationships, and ensure strong market presence for the company's ACPs.
Guide, train, and manage a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed their sales targets.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, identify new market trends, and spot potential business opportunities.
Manage lead generation and the sales conversion process for both project-based sales and retail markets.
Track and analyze sales performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI), making necessary adjustments to strategies.
Ensure smooth order processing, follow up on sales receivables, and manage stock levels at the depot level.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or in a similar field sales role, preferably with a focus on building materials.
Strong knowledge of ACPs and other building materials like tiles, gypsum, and AAC blocks.
A track record of achieving sales targets and successfully negotiating and closing orders.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to connect with clients and team members.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand market dynamics and address customer queries.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaboratively as part of a team.
A willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
