About the Role

four dynamic Area Sales Managers

Each ASM will lead their respective area to achieve sales growth, manage Medical Representatives, strengthen market presence, and ensure effective execution of the companys sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned area-wise sales and growth targets in line with company goals.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives to ensure high performance and market coverage.
  • Implement brand and marketing strategies effectively in the field.
  • Strengthen relationships with doctors, pharmacists, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Monitor doctor coverage, secondary sales, and market penetration to ensure consistent achievement.
  • Conduct regular field visits and joint working with MRs to improve productivity and territory management.
  • Gather and share market insights, competitor intelligence, and actionable feedback.
  • Ensure accurate reporting, adherence to company policies, and compliance with regulatory norms.
  • Coordinate closely with the RSM and marketing team for regional initiatives, CMEs, and promotional programs.

Candidate Profile

  • Education:

    Graduate in Pharmacy or Life Sciences (mandatory).
  • Experience:

    3–6 years in pharmaceutical sales; preferably 1–2 years in a team-handling or front-line managerial role.
  • Track Record:

    Proven ability to deliver sales targets and build high-performing field teams.

Skills Required

  1. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical sales operations in Tamil Nadu.
  2. Excellent team leadership and coaching skills.
  3. Effective communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  4. Strategic territory planning and data-driven decision-making.
  5. Analytical, disciplined, and result-oriented approach.
  6. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
