Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Manager, for Patna, Bangluru and Kolkata. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales operations, developing sales strategies, and building relationships with schools, teachers, and distributors. Responsibilities include identifying new sales opportunities, meeting sales targets, conducting market research, and providing feedback to the management. The role also involves training and supervising sales staff, managing budgets, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Qualifications Excellent sales and negotiation skills Strong relationship-building abilities and customer service skills Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies Experience in market research and analysis Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage budgets Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in using sales-related software and tools Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field Experience in the academic publishing industry is a plus Show more Show less
