Job Description

  • Provide leadership in the areas of business development and optimum utilization of resources
  • Verify adherence to the practice of SOP
  • Monitor team KPIs and required course corrections
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to regional teams and store managers to drive operational excellence, maximize sales performance, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Monitor store performance metrics, including sales, profitability, retail KPI, customer satisfaction and operational KPIs, and take proactive measures to address deviations from targets.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Champion a customer-centric culture across all stores, emphasizing the importance of delivering exceptional service and fostering long-term customer relationships.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance the overall shopping experience, including store layout optimization, merchandising strategies, and Omni channel integration.
  • Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction metrics, leveraging insights to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted service enhancements.
  • Oversee inventory planning, procurement, and replenishment processes to ensure adequate stock levels, minimize stock-outs, and optimize inventory turnover ratios.
  • Implement inventory control measures, including regular audits, cycle counts, and demand forecasting, to mitigate risks of excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to build leadership capabilities, enhance performance, and drive employee engagement and retention.
  • Facilitate training programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives to ensure that teams are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and tools necessary to succeed in their roles.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies and procedures across all operational areas.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Good and effective Communication
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing retail operations, preferably in a multi-store or national retail environment.
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to analyse complex data sets, identify trends, and develop actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of building high-performing teams and driving results through collaboration and empowerment.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
