Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Medical Devices
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our medical device sales team in the Madurai region. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of sales leadership, business development, and team management in the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives in the Madurai region.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to meet sales targets.
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and customer-centricity.
2. Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the medical device industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including hospitals, clinics, and medical professionals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
3. Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Coach and mentor team members to improve sales performance and achieve business objectives.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
4. Market Analysis:
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes.
- Analyze market data to inform sales strategies and business decisions.
Requirements:
1. Experience: 5+ years of experience in medical device sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
2. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degrees preferred.
3. Skills:
- Strong sales leadership and business development skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market data and make informed business decisions.
- Strong team management and coaching skills.
- Experience with medical device sales, including knowledge of medical terminology and regulatory requirements.
