Job Description

Axis Bank is urgently hiring for Area Sales Manager -Mortgages Sales for mutiple locations in South regions.

The Mortgages department is a part of the Retail Lending business of the bank and offers Home Loans and Loan against Property to all categories of customers Pan India.

About the Role:

It involves strategic planning and execution to maximize revenue, enhance portfolio growth, and ensure risk compliance.

Locations : Hyderabad, Bangluru, Calicut and Vizag

Grade: Senior Manager

Business Goals and Profitability

  • Achieve open market mortgage sales targets in the assigned area.
  • Build and maintain a healthy funnel of leads and conversions.
  • Monitor daily performance metrics and take proactive measures to meet area-level targets.

Sales and Channel Development

  • Lead a team of field officers focused on direct customer acquisition.
  • Initiate local activities such as canopy setups, tie-ups with builders and agents for lead generation.
  • Generate and convert leads from branches, ensuring alignment with zonal strategies.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure documentation, eligibility checks, and process adherence at the branch level.
  • Support audit and compliance processes as per internal and regulatory norms.
  • Ensure due diligence and compliance in customer acquisition and file submissions.
  • Identify red flags and take corrective actions to maintain sourcing quality.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure prompt service and communication with customers acquired through open market efforts.
  • Follow up on customer feedback to improve engagement and experience.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation/post-graduation from a recognized institute
  • 10+ sales experience (secured products preferred) with at least 2-3 years Team Handling skills a must

  • Capability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Skill in managing large, geographically spread team; coaching and mentoring team members
