Area Sales Manager (Field Sales)

You will be responsible for developing and implementing regional sales strategies to achieve sales targets. Your role will include managing and expanding the distributor and retail network in the assigned territory, identifying potential clients, conducting market visits, and converting leads into sales. Monitoring competitor activities, providing market insights to management, conducting product training, ensuring visibility and placement of products at outlets, building strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and field sales executives, tracking daily sales, preparing reports, ensuring timely collections, coordinating with the marketing team for local-level promotional activities, and recruiting, training, and supervising sales executives or field sales staff (if applicable). - Minimum 7 years of experience in FMCG/Beauty/Cosmetic/Personal Care field sales. - Strong knowledge of retail distribution and dealer management. - Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills. - Self-motivated with a willingness to travel extensively within the region. - Comfortable working in a target-based and field-intensive role.
