Job Description

Area Sales Managers (ASM)


Key Responsibilities

·  Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.

·  Manage and grow business across the assigned territory through direct field sales.

·  Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and channel partners.

·  Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities and ensure product visibility.

·  Generate leads, follow up with prospects, and convert opportunities into successful sales.

·  Monitor competitor activities and provide market insights to the management team.

·  Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasting, and territory performance updates.

·  Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain credit discipline.

·   Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.


Required Skills & Competencies

·   3–5 years of proven experience

·   Must have an experience of IT hardware product sales & AV/VC products.

·   Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

·   Ability to handle territory-based responsibilities and achieve sales targets.

·   Must have expertise an assigned territory.

·   Good understanding of the regional market and customer behaviour.

·   Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable with extensive travel.

·   Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Business/Technology preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience

    of selling IT/AV products
  • Proven experience of Direct sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to

    generate new business

    and manage existing accounts.
