Role:

Area Sales Manager Direct Industry Sales – Reporting to Regional Head


Qualification

Graduation/ Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation


Role Description

The role works with the Regional Sales Head - Direct Industry Sales, to generate leads and sales in the assigned area.

The work will involve working closely with the local industry, railways and power distribution 

companies and service the accounts.


Experience

Should have worked in organised set-up for sales of B2B products to manufacturing units. If he has worked as a maintenance engineer in handling industrial testing & measuring instruments, their calibration or repairs, this would be an added advantage


Key Accountabilities


1. Prepare detailed sales & business development plans & budgets

2. Achieve the sales target as agreed from time to time in the assigned area

3. Carry out Business development for opening new accounts for MetRavi range of products

4. Build relationships with key people in client organisation and keep a track of their instrumentation needs

5. Work with the local dealer network of MetRavi to generate leads and sales

6. Support the dealer with demos in their customers and

7. Develop contacts with the railway yards and power distribution companies

8. Keep track of tenders and auctions in the area and ensure MetRavi participation

9. Participation in exhibitions, seminars and industry events

10.Provide after sales service and support and product demos in coordination with Kolkata office.

11. Keep a track of competition and related market intelligence.
