This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 300000 - Rs 400000 (ie INR 3-4 LPA) Min Experience: 2 years Location: Bangalore, Kochi JobType: full-time We are looking for a dynamic and results-orientedArea Sales Managerto drive business expansion in the Bangalore region. This role is ideal for someone with experience in thefood and beverage sector, particularly inpremium or natural product categories. The individual will be responsible for developing distribution channels, maintaining key client relationships, and ensuring consistent revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets in the Bangalore market. Identify, onboard, and manage distribution partners, including HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafs) and premium retail accounts. Build long-term relationships with key clients such as five-star hotels, gourmet stores, and institutional buyers. Conduct in-store and on-site product presentations, sampling sessions, and staff training to enhance product visibility and knowledge. Collect market intelligence, monitor competition, and share actionable insights with internal stakeholders. Ensure timely payment collections and credit management in line with company policies. Collaborate with the marketing team on trade promotions, activations, and brand-building initiatives. Prepare and submit periodic sales reports, market forecasts, and performance updates to leadership. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred). 24 years of experience in sales within the food and beverage industry, ideally focused on juices, premium, or natural product categories. Existing network and contacts in the Bangalore HoReCa and premium retail segments. Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and managing key client relationships. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Proactive, self-driven, and capable of working independently. Willingness to travel extensively within Bangalore for client meetings and business development. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary with performance-linked incentives.
