Job Description

As an Area Sales Manager at Britannia in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, your role involves setting objectives and ensuring achievement of secondary sales targets by breaking down Quarterly Operating Plan into monthly territory wise plans. You will communicate schemes/plans to the team, set objectives on the Champion Scorecard, and track achievements accordingly. Key Responsibilities: - Manage customer relationships by aligning and motivating Authorized Wholesalers (AWs) to meet business objectives. - Coordinate with AWs to expand coverage of Cold Chain Distribution Systems. - Work closely with the regional Replenishment team to ensure compliance with receivable norms. - People management: Recruit, induct, and train field force; evaluate individual performance; motivate team towards goals; provide on-the-job support. - Commercial management: Handle trade promos, business solution development, annual budgeting, customer complaint handling, and market returns. - Monitor and prevent surplus at LCA/UCA, trade spends, and depot write-offs. - Trade Marketing: Ensure execution of Sales Support Activities, design visibility plans, set visibility standards, and measure activity performance at periodic intervals.
