Job Opening: Area Sales Manager – Automobile Industry

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and result-driven Area Sales Manager with experience in the automobile industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing dealer/distributor networks, and leading a sales team to achieve revenue targets in the Chennai region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Manage and expand dealer/distributor networks within the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market share in Chennai.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide insights for business planning.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and compliance with company credit policies.
• Provide training, motivation, and guidance to the sales team for enhanced performance.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management review.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: Graduate in Mechanical/Automobile/Engineering or MBA in Marketing (preferred).
• Experience: 2–5 years of proven sales experience in the automobile industry (Battery tester and battery charger).
• Strong understanding of the Chennai/Tamil Nadu automobile market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet targets.
• Proficiency in MS Office & CRM tools.
• Languages: English and Regional language(mandatory).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
