Area Retail Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for customer service. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Roles and Responsibilities: • Overseeing the store's operations, allocating responsibilities, and ensuring the store runs smoothly. • Supervising and guiding staff to maximize performance. • Ensuring the store complies with all legal health and safety guidelines. • Planning and overseeing in-store promotional events or display. • Analyzing sales and revenue reports and making forecasts. • Deal with problems by providing creative and practical solutions. • Report to senior management on progress and issues. • Monitoring stock levels and purchases to ensure they stay within budget. Must have: • 6+ year's experience in retail management, preferably overseeing multiple locations. • Willingness to travel between store locations as needed. • Ability to motivate and develop diverse teams effectively. • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Good to have: • Familiarity with inventory management and loss prevention strategies. • Experience in designing and implementing training programs. • Proficiency in more than one language can be a plus, depending on the customer base. • Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
