Area Manager - Tyre Sales

The Area Manager for Tyre Business in Vizag is responsible for supervising sales and distribution activities of tyres in the designated territory. Your main duties include formulating business strategies, managing relationships with dealers/distributors, boosting revenue, and expanding market share. You will be tasked with developing and implementing regional sales strategies to meet revenue and volume goals. Managing and expanding the dealer and distributor network in the assigned area will be a key focus. Regular market visits are required to track customer behavior, competitor performance, and sales trends. Additionally, overseeing the successful execution of marketing and promotional campaigns is crucial. Driving product awareness and providing training for channel partners are essential responsibilities. Monitoring inventory levels, working with the supply chain for efficient logistics, and ensuring timely deliveries are part of your role. Collaboration with various teams to address operational challenges and enhance customer satisfaction is expected. Providing market insights, intelligence, and routine reports to senior management is also a requirement. To qualify for this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (an MBA is preferred). A minimum of 5 years of sales and distribution experience, preferably in the tyre or automotive industry, is necessary. Having a strong network within the tyre distribution or dealer ecosystem would be advantageous. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth is essential.
