Role Overview:

The Area Manager will supervise multi-branch operations with a base in Erode or Tirupur, overseeing Erode, Tirupur, Salem, Karur, Madurai, and Coimbatore. This role ensures efficient, cost-effective cargo and parcel movement, sound financial management, and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day booking and delivery operations at all assigned branches
• Manage stock movement using FIFO principles across the network
• Ensure effective and cost-efficient market vehicle engagement for local and regional deliveries
• Implement company policies, SOPs, and maintain compliance at all sites
• Record-keeping and accounting for branch transactions
• Allocate funds and manage financial operations for area branches
• Oversee labour coordination, team management, and resolve staff issues
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to retain and grow business
• Generate new business, identify and develop new routes/markets
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of branch teams
• Work closely with cross-branch teams to ensure operational efficiency and communication

Key Requirements:

• Experience in logistics/express cargo/transport/branch management
• Hands-on operational and financial management skills
• Knowledge of Tamil Nadu transport and cargo markets
• Ability to lead and train diverse teams across multiple locations
• Strong customer relationship management and business development track record
• Proficiency in process implementation, cost control, and record keeping
• Willingness to travel and work from base/branches as required
