Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Bancassurance (Life Insurance)Location:

About Us

  • Channel Partner Relationship Management:

    Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with the bank's Cluster Heads, Branch Managers, and allied staff to foster a productive sales environment and achieve cluster sales targets.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans and marketing campaigns to maximize the bancassurance business in Gurgaon and West Delhi, ensuring high market penetration and brand awareness.
  • Team Leadership & Development:

    Lead, train, and motivate a team of Bancassurance Sales Executives. Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and provide coaching to enhance skills and ensure team targets are met or exceeded.
  • Target Achievement:

    Take ownership of the area's sales operations, consistently meeting and exceeding assigned monthly and quarterly business targets for life insurance products.
  • Compliance & Operations:

    Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory guidelines, company policies, and compliance procedures within the sales process. Coordinate with the operations team for seamless policy issuance and efficient resolution of any operational issues.
  • Market Analysis & Reporting:

    Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance metrics. Utilize CRM tools for accurate sales reporting and forecasting, providing actionable insights to senior management.
  • Customer Service:

    Oversee that all customer interactions maintain a high standard, ensuring minimal complaints and providing excellent pre- and post-sales service to bank customers.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 10+ years of total experience in sales, with substantial experience in the insurance or financial services industry (BFSI).
    • Proven track record in managing sales teams and achieving significant sales targets in a bancassurance or similar channel management role.
  • Skills:

    • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of life insurance products, banking operations, and regulatory requirements (IRDAI, etc.).
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
    • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales enablement tools.
