Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Collection Manager, located in the Greater Chennai Area. The Area Collection Manager will oversee and manage the collections process, ensuring timely recovery of amounts due while maintaining customer relationships. Responsibilities include leading a team of collection agents, monitoring collection performance, implementing strategies to improve collection efficiency, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies. The role also involves coordinating with other departments to resolve customer issues and disputes.

Qualifications

Strong leadership and team management skills
Experience in collections management and recovery strategies
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in banking
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to analyze data and generate reports on collection performance
Proficiency in using collection management software and tools
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
