Job Description

You will be working for Abbott, a global healthcare leader dedicated to helping individuals lead fuller lives across all life stages. With a diverse portfolio of life-changing technologies in diagnostics, medical devices, nutritionals, and branded generic medicines, Abbott's 109,000 colleagues serve individuals in over 160 countries. Your core job responsibilities will include achieving sales targets assigned to your area and territory, on a brand-wise basis every month. You will need to create a beat plan for your region, allocate targets and inputs accordingly, monitor progress regularly, and drive secondary sales. Furthermore, it is essential to ensure the effective implementation of company strategies in the market. This involves understanding and clarifying various strategies and campaigns, such as CMEs and camps, rolled out by the Marketing team, and ensuring their 100% implementation in your region. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting promotions and below-the-line (BTL) activities in line with the company's objectives and norms. Your role will also involve launching and nurturing international brands, overseeing direct sales activities to achieve short and long-term sales volume objectives, and training and developing the knowledge and skills of the TBMs (Team Business Managers) under your supervision to enhance their competencies. To improve the productivity of territories, you will need to profile towns and customers effectively. Managing the sales of Abbott products in your assigned territories, you must meet the defined sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis as mutually decided with your superiors. These targets may be subject to revision based on the growth potential of the company and its products, with any changes communicated to you by your superiors. The ideal candidate for this role should have 4-5 years of experience in pharma sales, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position. A degree in B. Pharm/M. Pharm/M.Sc. would be preferred, while an MBA/PG Diploma/Diploma in Sales & Marketing/Business Management would be considered a plus.,
