About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Architecture & Structure BIM Modeller to join our design/BIM team. The role will involve creating, maintaining, and coordinating BIM models for architectural and structural disciplines, producing high-quality documentation, ensuring clash-free integration with other disciplines (MEP, civil etc.), and ensuring models meet defined Levels of Detail (LOD) and standards. The modeller will also assist in coordinating across teams and ensuring timely delivery of BIM deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for

  architecture

  (walls, floors, roofs, windows, doors, finishes, etc.) and

  structure

  (columns, beams, slabs, foundations, reinforcement, etc.) from design drawings / sketches.
• Prepare / extract 2D documentation (floor plans, elevations, sections, details) from models.
• Produce shop drawings, structural and architectural details as required.
• Maintain model integrity: ensure correct levels, grids, annotation, and parameters.
• Perform clash detection (architectural vs structural, MEP etc.), coordinate clashes, and resolve them.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, contractors to ensure models are coordinated.
• Assist in model updates when design changes are issued (revision control).
• Adhere to BIM Execution Plans (BEP), project standards, modelling standards, naming conventions, file organization.
• Generate schedules, quantities, BOQ (Bill of Quantities) or material take-off from the BIM model.
• Participate in design review meetings, coordination meetings.
• Ensure deliverables are on schedule and meet required quality.

Technical Expertise Required

• Proficiency with BIM authoring software:

  Autodesk Revit

  (both Architecture and Structure modules).
• Skills in AutoCAD for interpreting / converting 2D drawings.
• Familiarity with clash detection tools:

  Navisworks

  ,

  BIM 360

  , etc.
• Ability to work with Levels of Detail (LOD) / Levels of Development standards.
• Good understanding of structural systems (steel, concrete, foundations, reinforcement) and architectural components / finishes.
• Knowledge of local / national building codes, design standards.
• Experience producing shop drawings, details, schedules, BOQ.
• Good documentation / version control practices.

Education Required

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in Architecture & Structural BIM modelling, typically

  2-5 years

  (or more for senior roles).
• Experience with real projects where the BIM modeller has handled both architecture and structure sides.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and model accuracy.
• Good communication (verbal / written) for cross-discipline coordination.
• Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple tasks.
• Team player, able to collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors.
• Adaptability: handle design revisions, rapid changes.

Preferred/Desirable

• Experience with international projects or exposure to international BIM standards (e.g. ISO 19650).
• Experience with parametric family creation and advanced modelling features.
• Familiarity with Dynamo or scripting for Revit for automations.
• Experience in visualization or rendering could be a plus.
• Knowledge of Common Data Environments (CDEs) like BIM 360, ProjectWise, etc.
