About the Role

Architectural Assistant

This role is ideal for someone passionate about architecture, design, and construction, with strong technical skills and an eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist architects in developing design concepts, drawings, and presentations.
• Prepare architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and 3D models using CAD and BIM software.
• Support project documentation, including specifications, schedules, and reports.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure design feasibility and compliance with regulations.
• Assist in project management tasks such as tracking progress, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Conduct research on materials, building codes, and construction methods.
• Contribute to the preparation of client presentations, proposals, and tender documentation.
• Support quality control by reviewing drawings, models, and documentation for accuracy and consistency.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in architectural design, drafting, or project support.
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and 3D modeling tools (SketchUp, Rhino, or 3ds Max).
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods in Singapore.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under supervision.
• Creative mindset with problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BIM workflows and project collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building standards.
• Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visualization software for presentations.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or institutional projects.
