Job Description

Description

The Architect will be a key member of the Project Delivery Team, responsible for design management, technical coordination, and quality oversight across prestigious developments including a 5-star heritage-themed luxury hotel, large master-planned villa communities, and high-rise residential/mixed-use towers. In addition, the role requires handling in-house architectural and interior design (ID) works for relatively smaller projects, refurbishment of company assets, and adaptive reuse assignments.

This role requires strong technical expertise, design sensitivity, and project execution knowledge to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, cost-efficient, and design-compliant outcomes. The Architect will act as a bridge between design and execution, ensuring projects are aesthetically outstanding, technically sound, cost-efficient, and timely delivered, with due respect to heritage and contemporary design standards.

Experience

10–12 years of proven experience in architectural & project design, detailing, and project technical coordination with reputed real estate developers or consultancy firms working on major projects in hospitality or master plan communities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Initiation & Feasibility

  • Assist in preparing project briefs through site assessments, feasibility studies, and initial concept development.
  • Develop RFPs for consultancy services, ensuring scope clarity and alignment with company objectives.
  • Support management in conceptual design presentations for new projects, villa prototypes, hotel facilities, and high-rise schemes.

2. Design & Detailing Review

  • Review consultant-issued design basis reports, drawings, and specifications for compliance with company standards, constructability, site constraints, and project objectives.
  • Identify design discrepancies, coordination gaps, or technical issues across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Provide timely technical clarifications to consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Undertake in-house detailing for small-scale projects and refurbishment works where required.

3. Consultant & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as the focal point for interdisciplinary design coordination across owners, consultants (architectural, interior design, landscape, structural, and MEP) and specialists.
  • Ensure design deliverables are integrated, complete, error-free, and aligned with project schedules.
  • Liaise with statutory authorities, when required, for design-related approvals and compliance.
  • Follow up with consultants for timely delivery of construction drawings, specifications, and design revisions.

4. Quality Audit & Site Inspections

  • Review and approve samples, material submittals, and mock-ups (onsite/offsite).
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction quality and ensure alignment with approved design intent, detailing, and specifications and industry standards.
  • Highlight non-conformities, material deviations, or workmanship issues, and recommend corrective measures in coordination with QA/QC teams.
  • Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare weekly reports capturing design/quality observations, site coordination issues, and consultant performance.
