Investigating drawing sequence and presentation, sizing system components, fiber optic cable plants, and refining rough sketches. Monitoring ongoing projects and initial draft designs. Building Bill of Quantities (BOQs) for all materials, equipment, and components required for the layout. Assisting in the physical implementation of the design to avoid complications. Creating a documentation process to address potential issues among technical staff during installation or upgrades. Evaluating reports, drawings, and calculations. Collaborating with engineering and field personnel to complete projects within budget and stipulated time frame. Organizing and maintaining all revisions of project drawings, plot files, and project-related information. Archiving network blueprints, notes, and records diligently for future use. Updating documentation throughout the project on an ongoing basis. Having good knowledge of broadband, optical fiber, and copper connectivity solutions. Requirements Requirements: Proven experience as a Fiber Optics Designer or similar role Proficiency in drafting software and tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant field is preferred
