Job Description

About the Role:

experienced Design Engineers

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out design and detailed engineering of
water supply and sewerage systems
, including transmission mains, distribution networks, pumping stations, and treatment facilities.
Prepare
drawings, hydraulic models, and design calculations
using relevant software tools.
Support in
DPR preparation
, technical documentation, and BOQ/estimation.
Review and validate designs as per
CPHEEO, BIS, and departmental standards
.
Coordinate with clients, field engineers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
Assist in capacity assessment, augmentation proposals, and value engineering for ongoing projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
(mandatory)
Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering
or related field (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience
in design of water supply and sewerage systems.
Hands-on experience with:

WaterGEMS / SewerGEMS
(for network design and modeling)
AutoCAD / Civil 3D
(for drawings and layouts)
Familiarity with
EPANET
,
STAAD
, or other relevant software is an added advantage.

Skills Required:

Strong understanding of
hydraulic design principles
, network modeling, and system optimization.
Knowledge of
CPHEEO manuals
, MoHUA and Jal Jeevan Mission guidelines.
Good command of MS Office, Excel, and technical report writing.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and manage deadlines.
