Role Summary WSP wishes to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated Senior Drainage Engineer to join the ‘UK CRC Development’ team in Noida & Bengaluru and closely work with our UK offices which provides detailed infrastructure designs for both public and private sector Clients in UK. The ability to plan and design deliverables against UK/International Engineering standards for each stage of a project is a pre-requisite and training and guidance will be provided where necessary Responsibilities Production of detailed draiange designs and construction drawings for various UK projects including residential, industrial, commercial, transport, water, retail, health and education projects. Mandatory Skills Good command of written and verbal English Significant experience in road/highway drainage design for infrastructure projects including Surface and foul water , hydraulic modelling, hydrological analysis and the preparation of technical approval designs and drawings Ability to design and model drainage networks (2d/3d) including SuDS features Fully conversant with software like Micro Drainage / InfoDrainage / Sewer GEMS / Sewer CAD, Civil 3d etc UK/ international project experience essential in particular in the application of standards similar to DMRB, Sewers for adoption / DCG etc and developing designs and drawings in compliant with Section S38/S278/S104 applications Problem solving and originality. Cultural awareness, conscientious and an open mind are essential requirements for the role. High degree of self-motivation and ability to motivate others. Ability to work under pressure and with minimum of supervision. Ability to check work to ensure quality deliverables. A proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word and MS Excel is also expected. Candidate should have minimum 5 years working experience on wastewater modelling for ANZ and UK & I region especially on model calibration & verification Candidate should be well versed with Infoworks ICM hydraulic modelling software. Having hands on experience with modeling tools like Water GEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, GeoPak would be advantage. Capable for leading the project, coordinating with Lead Office, mentoring juniors and ensuring quality checks Complete design activities to specified standards including earthworks modelling and design, sanitary and storm sewer design, watermain design, grading of roads and drive isles, lot grading, and stormwater management design of ponds and other retention systems. Qualifications Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. Chartered Engineer (CEng), or Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent in the relevant field from any global organization (e.g., Institution of Civil Engineers, UK). Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water, Sewerage, and Hydraulic Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and managing water supply, sewerage, and hydraulic systems for infrastructure projects. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering cost-effective and sustainable design solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and Planning: Develop detailed designs, layouts, and plans for water distribution networks, sewerage systems, and stormwater drainage using hydraulic modeling software. Perform hydraulic calculations, flow analysis, and pipeline sizing. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications. Technical Analysis: Conduct hydraulic modeling and simulations to evaluate system performance and identify improvements. Assess the capacity and efficiency of existing water and sewerage systems. Prepare feasibility studies and technical reports. Compliance and Standards: Ensure designs adhere to local and international standards (e.g., BIS, CPHEEO, AWWA, ASTM). Incorporate environmental and safety regulations into design processes. Ensure compliance with government regulations and project requirements. Project Coordination: Collaborate with civil, structural, and electrical engineers to integrate water and sewerage systems into larger infrastructure projects. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to resolve technical issues. Provide technical support during construction phases, including site visits and inspections . Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and review design reports, drawings, and technical documentation . Maintain accurate project records, calculations, and design iterations.

Strong hands on experience in Hydraulic design & detailing of all underground drainage network such as Storm Drain, Sanitary sewer, Accidentally Oil Contaminated sewer, Process drainage, Oily sewer network, Internal plumbing & sanitary and Site Infra works such as Road, Area grading, Paving & cable trench designs. Experience in review of UG composite layouts & UG Isometrics. Excellent communication skill and able to co-ordinate with Multi-Disciplineteam of Structural, Electrical & Mechanical. Working experience in EPC, EPCM projects of FMCG/Chemical/ petrochemical/Oil & gas Industrial sectors for projects in India, Gulf, NA and European countries. Proficient in use of softwares like Auto Cad, Revit, Infodrainage, Civil3D, E3D, PDMS, SP3D, StormCAD and Sewercad. Working knowledge in PIP standards, API, NBC, ASPE & IPC codes

Design & detailed civil engineering for water supply components like Intake Well, Pumping Mains, Water Treatment Plant, Pumping Stations, Overhead Tanks, distribution network, Sewerage projects. Experience in Preparation of DPR, Cost Estimates, BOQ Required Candidate profile B.E. / B. Tech in Civil Engineering and M.E / M.
