Job Description Key Responsibilities : Algorithm & Model Leadership : Lead the design, development, and implementation of state-of-the-art NLP algorithms and models, with a strong focus on Transformers and similar architectures. Data Quality Assurance : Ensure exceptional data quality throughout all stages of acquisition and processing, including data sourcing/collection, ground truth generation, normalization, transformation, and cross-lingual alignment/mapping. Independent Project Management : Manage your own process by identifying and executing high-impact projects, triaging external requests, and ensuring projects reach conclusion in a timely manner for useful results. Technical Communication : Communicate complex proposals and results clearly and effectively, backed by data, and coupled with actionable conclusions to drive critical business decisions. Collaboration : Work closely with a team of highly skilled and motivated data scientists and machine learning Skills & Qualifications : Experience : Must have 4+ years of industry experience in data science. Machine Learning Fundamentals : Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals, and familiarity with standard algorithms and techniques. Statistical Computing : Expert knowledge of a statistical computing language such as Python. Probability & Statistics : Strong knowledge of probability and statistics, including experimental design, predictive modeling, optimization, and causal inference. Deep Learning Frameworks : Good knowledge of Deep Learning frameworks like PyTorch and Tensorflow is a must. NLP Expertise : Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing state-of-the-art NLP algorithms and models using Transformers and similar architectures. Data Quality Focus : Demonstrated ability to ensure data quality across all stages of data acquisition and processing. Problem-Solving : Ability to identify and execute on high-impact projects and bring them to conclusion. Communication : Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills. Team Player : A strong team player who collaborates effectively. Education : Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or a relevant : Track-record of having developed novel algorithms, e.g., publications in one or more of the following top tier conferences : KDD, WWW, NIPS, ISWC, NAACL, ACL, SIGIR, EMNLP, ICML. Expertise in building and fine-tuning LLM (Large Language Model) models using Transformers and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems.
