Appraisal Analyst - Civil

Year of Experience: 0 - 1 Yrs Salary (CTC): 2-3 LPA Shift: Night Shift Working Days: Monday - Friday Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree or PE license preferred. 0–1 years of experience in civil engineering, structural assessment, or construction management. Familiarity with mortgage processes, real estate valuation, or property development preferred. We are seeking a Civil Engineer with experience in construction, site development, and structural analysis to support our mortgage and real estate finance operations. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise in assessing residential and commercial properties for structural integrity, code compliance, and development potential. This role plays a key part in risk assessment, property valuation, and due diligence for mortgage underwriting and investment decisions. Key Responsibilities : Conduct engineering reviews of property inspection reports, appraisals, and surveys to evaluate structural integrity and site conditions. Assess the condition and compliance of existing buildings and infrastructure against local codes, zoning, and FEMA flood zone regulations. Provide technical guidance to underwriting teams regarding property risks, construction quality, and development feasibility. Collaborate with appraisal and risk management departments to identify red flags in mortgage applications involving new construction or renovation. Prepare detailed technical reports and risk assessments for lending or investment review committees. Support due diligence for real estate acquisitions or developments backed by mortgage financing. Stay current with federal, state, and local regulations impacting construction, land use, and environmental compliance. Liaise with architects, surveyors, geotechnical consultants, and municipal engineers as needed.
