Application Analyst

Duties:
The Application Analyst provides technical support and administration for CMTN’s enterprise applications and systems, while also contributing to analysis activities that help align technology with institutional needs. In addition to maintaining and troubleshooting core systems such as Brightspace, Colleague, Microsoft 365, TeamDynamix, and Softdocs, the role collaborates with departments to gather requirements, document processes, participate in testing of new modules, and support the rollout of upgrades and technology solutions. The incumbent assists with staff training, develops user documentation, and supports workflow improvements to ensure applications are effectively used across College operations.
Qualifications
A degree in Computer Science along with two years of directly related work experience. A+ or other IT industry certificates are an asset. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.Proven skills and experience with combination of the following must be demonstrated:
- Strong skills in supporting Windows operating systems
- Proficient with MS Office/Office 365, Email and Internet applications including Brightspace, Colleague, PaperCut, etc.
- Strong trouble-shooting skills in a mixed environment running Windows Desktops with networking peripherals such as multifunction printers
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with strong time-management skills
- Ability to work effectively independently as well as in a cross-functional team environment
- A valid Class 5 Driver’s License (with a clean driver’s abstract)
