Job Description

We're Hiring: Application Support Engineer

Job ID:

Andheri, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

Deliver L1/L2 support for business-critical applications, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution
Write and execute SQL queries to investigate and resolve database-related issues
Use Postman to test and debug APIs and integrations
Manage and track support tickets using Jira, ensuring SLAs are met
Leverage Excel for data analysis, reporting, and maintaining operational logs
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and stakeholders via email and other channels
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to enhance application performance and reliability
(Bonus) Support deployment and automation tasks using CI/CD tools

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in SQL (queries, joins, troubleshooting)
Experience using Postman for API testing
Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
Excellent email communication and interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) is a plus
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Prior experience in an Application Support or Technical Support role
