Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Application Engineer specializing in vision systems, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of vision-based solutions for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and product management, to understand customer requirements and deliver tailored solutions that address their unique needs. Responsibilities: Collaborate with sales and product management teams to identify customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications for vision system applications. Design, develop, and implement vision-based solutions using industry-leading technologies and tools. Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the capabilities and benefits of our vision systems. Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting, system integration, and training. Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize and enhance existing vision system products. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in vision system technologies, industry trends, and best practices. Participate in customer meetings, conferences, and trade shows to showcase our vision system capabilities. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Solid understanding of computer vision algorithms, image processing techniques, and machine learning. Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or LabVIEW. Experience with vision system development tools and frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Familiarity with hardware components used in vision systems, including cameras, lenses, and lighting. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Prior experience in a customer-facing role, providing technical support or solutions, is preferred.
