Application Engineer - Global Support

As a Global Support Specialist at Qualitrol, your role involves working across geographies to support customers and Applications Engineers in ensuring quality support. Your main responsibilities include: - Assisting with order processes such as quoting, pricing, and determining delivery schedules. - Reviewing design drawings and providing technical support for manufacturing, sales, and product management. - Responding to customer inquiries regarding Qualitrol products and applications, contributing to enhancing sales. - Offering technical assistance for product-related queries from initial quotation requests to post-shipment and installation. - Providing written quotations for both standard and non-standard products. - Implementing pricing policies and resolving pricing discrepancies for non-standard products. - Reviewing and processing purchase orders. - Researching and recommending product solutions, including initiating new product models or derivatives to meet customer needs. - Being proactive and responsive to customer needs to ensure positive feedback on response quality and timeliness. - Documenting all product selection and specification choices. - Supporting manufacturing by addressing questions and troubleshooting order-related issues. - Analyzing product failures and customer concerns, assisting with quality issues and generating reports as necessary. - Traveling occasionally to support the sales organization.
