API Engineer

Role Overview: You have the opportunity to join World Wide Technology Holding Co, LLC. (WWT) as an API Engineer based in Pune. Your main responsibilities will include developing integration applications using Java and Springboot, designing and implementing security in enterprise applications, performance tuning of application servers, testing and supporting developed applications, addressing technical support tickets, and assisting the technical project team in analyzing and prioritizing issues. Key Responsibilities: - Develop integration applications using Java and Springboot - Design and implement security in enterprise applications - Perform performance tuning of application servers - Implement load balancing and clustering of applications - Test and support developed applications - Address technical support tickets - Analyze and prioritize issues, identify root causes, and suggest mitigation strategies - Complete delivery tasks reliably - Serve as the technical expert for support efforts and provide support governance to technical teams as needed Qualifications Required: - 4-6 years of experience working with Java and Springboot - Hands-on experience developing and supporting integration APIs using Java and Springboot - Experience with Springboot API - Knowledge of SOA and Web Service standards (REST, JSON, SOAP, WSDL, WS-I Basic Profile, WS-* extensions and standards) - Familiarity with Object-Oriented Design Principles - Experience with AppDynamics and Splunk - Knowledge of AWS Cloud, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, or Kubernetes is a plus - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent professional experience - Technical certifications and work experience in the financial sector will be an added advantage,
