Role & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust API automation frameworks for efficient and reliable testing.
Design and execute automated test scripts for RESTful APIs, seamlessly integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve API-related issues.
Perform regular test executions, document defects, and ensure timely resolution of bugs.
Optimize and refine test cases to enhance overall automation coverage and reliability.
Document and share best practices to continuously improve our testing strategies and processes.

Must-Have

Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in API automation testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and RestAssured.
Hands-on experience with programming languages like Java and Python for developing automation scripts.
Strong understanding of RESTful API principles and integration within CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred

Familiarity with performance testing and monitoring techniques for API endpoints.
Experience with cloud-native environments and microservices architectures.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) within agile development settings.
