Role Objective:

To lead and manage anodizing operations, ensuring high productivity, consistent quality, cost efficiency, timely order delivery, adherence to safety norms, and continuous process improvement aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibility Areas:

Production

• Plan and monitor anodizing production activities to achieve desired output and maintain a balanced product mix.
• Ensure consistent production recovery and minimize process losses through effective process control.

Quality

• Maintain quality standards by reducing rejection levels and ensuring all customer requirements are met without deviations.
• Drive continuous improvement in surface finish, color consistency, and coating quality.

Cost

• Optimize utilization of consumables and manpower to control operational costs.
• Minimize rework and wastage by improving process efficiency and equipment utilization.

Delivery

• Ensure timely completion of customer orders and maintain smooth workflow from order receipt to dispatch.
• Coordinate with planning and production teams to ensure readiness of work orders as per schedule.

Safety

• Promote a safe working environment by implementing and monitoring proper usage of safety gadgets and compliance with all safety procedures.
• Conduct safety awareness programs and audits to prevent incidents.

Process

• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all anodizing activities.
• Ensure proper documentation, job cards, and system entries for all production-related processes.
• Drive process automation and digital record-keeping to improve traceability and efficiency.

Morale & Environment

• Encourage employee participation in improvement initiatives and foster a culture of teamwork.
• Conduct regular training sessions to develop multiskilling and technical competence among team members.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Chemical / Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering.

• 10–15 years of experience

  in anodizing operations within the aluminium extrusion or related industry.
• Strong understanding of anodizing chemistry, process parameters, and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and team development skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and production data management.
