About the Role

Senior Android Developer

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain Android applications that offer exceptional performance, reliability, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications for

  phones and tablets

  using

  Kotlin

   and

  Java

  .
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate requirements into functional, visually appealing, and responsive apps.
• Implement and maintain clean, modular, and testable code following Android development best practices.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and memory usage.
• Integrate APIs, SDKs, and backend services.
• Work with

  GitHub repositories

  , using branching strategies, pull requests, and code review processes.
• Participate in architectural discussions, technical planning, and peer code reviews.
• Write unit tests, UI tests, and automated tests to ensure high code quality.
• Debug and resolve technical issues, crashes, and bugs efficiently.
• Stay up to date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and libraries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–8+ years

   of professional Android development experience.
• Strong expertise in

  Kotlin

   and

  Java

   for Android development.
• Experience building applications for both

  Android phones and tablets

  , including adaptive UI design.
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, or MVI).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party SDKs.
• Strong understanding of

  Play Store submission process

  , signing, and app release management.
• Proficiency with

  GitHub

   and Git-based workflows.
• Familiarity with performance optimization, memory management, and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with

  Jetpack Compose

• Knowledge of asynchronous programming (Coroutines, RxJava).
• Familiarity with

Education
