About Investment Research (IR)

As a global leader in knowledge processes, research, and analytics, youll be working with a team that specializes in global market research, working with the top-rated investment research organizations, bulge bracket investment banks, and leading asset managers. We cater to 8 of the top 10 global banks, working alongside their product and sector teams, supporting them on deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory-related projects.

What you will be doing at Evalueserve-

The selected candidate willwork directly with a senior economist in CEEMEA. The role will involve the coverageof existing countries, along with respective country economists, and supportthe team in initiating coverage in new countries in the region.

• Handle research, strategy, and analytics for CEEMEA economicsand related products offered by the research platform of the banking client
• Conduct macroeconomic and market research acrossemerging markets
• Analyze large datasets to identify market trends andinvestment opportunities
• Support the team in producing high-quality researchreports and market commentary
• Collaborate with trading, sales, and risk teams toalign strategy insights with business needs
• Utilize tools, such as Bloomberg, Macrobond, Haver, and IMF databases, to extract and analyze data

What we are looking for:

• Undergraduate or advanced degree in economics / statisticswith 13 years of relevant experience; progress towards CFA / FRM qualificationwill be a plus
• Experience in macro research, country coverage, or economicswill be a plus
• Keen interest in global financial markets andknowledge of recent developments
• Sound understanding of economic concepts andstatistical skills with experience in working with large data sets
• Advanced Excel skills and understanding ofeconometrics are a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to write research reports and comment onmarket developments
