As an Analyst - Internal Reporting at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in evolving the digital landscape and driving innovation to ensure unparalleled customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include: - Experience in Internal Reporting, Regulatory reporting, Control, Planning, and/or Analytics. - Proficiency in Barclays data and/or analytics is advantageous. - Ability to design MI dashboards, analytics, and insights. - Knowledge of Business Intelligence platforms such as SAP, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, and data management. - Strong project management and scrum master capabilities to prioritize effectively. - Expertise in designing MI dashboards and insights. In addition to the specific technical skills, you may be assessed on key critical skills essential for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology. The purpose of the role is to provide financial expertise and support to specific business units or departments within the organization. You will act as a liaison between the finance function and various business units, helping bridge the gap between financial data and business decisions. Your main accountabilities will include: - Developing and implementing business unit financial strategies, plans, and budgets. - Creating financial models to forecast performance, assess investment opportunities, and evaluate financial risks. - Collaborating cross-functionally to provide financial insights and guidance. - Identifying and implementing financial process improvements. - Supporting business units in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks. You will guide and persuade team members, communicate complex/sensitive information, and act as a contact point for stakeholders outside the immediate function, while building a network of contacts outside the team and external to the organization.
