- Develop a strong understanding of the HC Operations portfolio (Workday Support & Operations, Talent Acquisition Operations, Reporting & Analytics, Mobility & Immigration) to be able to effectively support HCBPs in HC Operations processes
- Work with the HC Business Partner team to develop and maintain processes to ensure that business-specific data (hiring, terms, role changes, bios, org charts, hierarchy, etc.) is up to date in Workday, while liaising with the Workday Support team to implement employee and business changes (e.g., reorgs) in a timely manner
- Own the training of new Business Partner team members on HC Operations processes (including but not limited to hiring, onboarding, terms, role changes, etc.)
Work with HC Business Partner team to identify opportunities to enhance current HC processes and systems
- Identify key business partner activities where additional scalable process could be developed to support the team s operations and cadence, which includes creating core templates/processes that can be leveraged globally for various employee lifecycle activities,
- Work with the broader HC Operations team to create and maintain standard operating procedures and job aids, ensuring there is the right level of technical and business-specific guidance, and also identify the appropriate channels to train BPs on specific Workday processes
- Support business-specific HC reporting leads, coordinating with Reporting & Analytics and Business Partners to leverage existing reports, align on additional reporting requirements, and produce ongoing and ad hoc reporting
Support key Business Partner activities and strategic initiatives
- Create business-specific presentations and reporting to support ongoing and annual HC processes, including but not limited to performance management (e.g., outstanding reviews by BU, download of 360 reviews for senior leaders), talent planning (e.g. outstanding talent planning mappings, promotion class years), and training programs (e.g. Associate class facebook, Associate onboarding tracker)
- Support broader employee lifecycle processes including recruiting, performance management, promotions, and learning initiatives under the direction of the Business Partner team
- Provide ad hoc support to Business Partners as priorities evolve
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 + years experience in HC Business partnering role or HC Operations role
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience
- External vendor management experience
- Highly analytical, logical thinker, problem-solver with strong work ethic
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience and knowledge on Workday and Service Now Applications
- Ability to handle confidential HR information and execute complex data change requests
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong experience of enabling tools including in-depth knowledge of Microsoft products. Skilled in analysis and reports.
