As an HR Business Partner (HRBP) for one of Weekday's clients in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, your role will involve being a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals, and ensuring employee needs are met. You will focus on employee relations, retention, talent acquisition, and engagement at the branch level, driving strategies to enhance employee satisfaction, reduce attrition, and support talent growth. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct regular branch visits to connect with employees, address grievances, assess workplace culture, and facilitate effective communication between corporate HR and branch staff. - Build strong relationships with employees and managers to promote trust, inclusivity, and collaboration. Proactively address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues promptly. - Identify factors contributing to employee satisfaction and retention. Implement initiatives to reduce attrition, enhance engagement, and provide career development opportunities. - Collaborate with business leaders to understand workforce needs. Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing and interviewing to evaluating and onboarding talent aligned with business requirements. - Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and feedback sessions. Offer coaching to managers to drive productivity and employee development. - Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies across branches in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. - Work with the Learning & Development team to identify skill gaps and facilitate training programs for employees. - Monitor HR metrics such as attrition, recruitment, employee satisfaction, and engagement. Provide insights and recommendations to business leaders. - Serve as a local HR lead, aligning with business goals and advising on people-related strategies, challenges, and opportunities. **Required Skills & Competencies:** - Expertise in employee relations, retention, and talent acquisition. - Experience in conducting branch visits and managing distributed teams. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage employees at all levels. - Problem-solving abilities to resolve conflicts and build consensus. - Organizational skills with attention to detail. - Knowledge of labor laws, compliance practices, and HR policies. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. - 3+ years of HRBP or HR Generalist experience, preferably in a multi-branch or distributed workforce setup. - Proven track record in employee retention, engagement, and recruitment. - Familiarity with HRIS systems and data-driven HR decision-making.
