Job Description

Dear Candidate,

We are looking for an experienced professional in HR role for our plant location.

Job Title: AM/DM - HR

Location: Tirupati

Job Purpose

To oversee and manage all operational HR functions at the plant level, with key focus on time office, payroll processing, labour/contract manpower management, statutory compliance, and employee welfare. This role ensures smooth HR operations to support day-to-day plant productivity and maintain a compliant and engaging work environment.

1. Time Management & Attendance

  • Manage biometric attendance systems for permanent and contract workers.
  • Monitor shift schedules, overtime, leave management, and absenteeism.
  • Ensure timely closure and validation of attendance for payroll processing.

2. Payroll Processing

  • Collate and validate payroll inputs (attendance, overtime, leave, deductions).
  • Coordinate with corporate payroll/finance teams for salary processing.
  • Address employee salary queries, payslip generation, and final settlements.
  • Ensure statutory deductions like PF, ESI, LWF are correctly implemented.

3. Manpower / Labour Management

  • Monitor daily manpower availability vs production requirements.
  • Coordinate with contractors for timely deployment of contract labor.
  • Verify labour strength, manage gate control, and handle contractor documentation.
  • Conduct surprise audits on labour attendance and compliance.

4. Statutory Compliance & Audits

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws: Factories Act, Contract Labour Act, ESI, PF, etc.
  • Maintain statutory registers, records, and ensure timely filing of returns.

5. Employee Engagement & Welfare

  • Organize employee welfare programs, awareness sessions, and events.
  • Ensure effective communication between HR and shopfloor employees.
  • Address grievances of blue-collar employees and escalate as necessary.

6. HRIS / Systems Handling

  • Maintain accurate employee data in HRMS/HRIS platforms.
  • Generate HR dashboards/reports (absenteeism, overtime, headcount, etc.).
  • Ensure accuracy in shift rosters, gate passes, and access control systems.
