AM/DM - CAPEX Procurement

Role Overview: You are a seasoned Procurement Professional with expertise in CAPEX procurement for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Chemical industries. Your role involves end-to-end procurement, global sourcing, vendor development, and cost optimization while ensuring compliance with international standards, commercial terms, and supply chain risk management. Key Responsibilities: - Review and validate Material Purchase Requisitions (MPR) for completeness, technical accuracy, and compliance with QA/QC standards. - Issue RFQs to approved and potential global vendors and lead negotiations on price, delivery schedules, and risk-sharing mechanisms. - Conduct techno-commercial bid evaluations, prepare Comparison Statements (CS), and create Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP MM. - Monitor order execution, vendor progress, inspection milestones, and logistics readiness to ensure quality assurance requirements are met. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of experience in high-value procurement - Deep knowledge of SAP MM - Strong commercial acumen - Experience in CAPEX procurement for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Chemical industries Additional Details (if applicable): The company is based in Chennai and operates in the Oil/Gas/Petroleum industry.
